The Weyland-Yutani Colonial Marine Corps was formed because of
the United States Colonial Marine Corps (USCMC) inability to protect the
companies Investment. Company Fieldsman Ulrik recruited a Diehard to recruit
and lead the Corps. The Original field tests were successful, showing
complete eradication of the Xenomorph species in the Regula and Vega
systems with sustainable losses. The CMC continued to thrive and expand
until it collapsed because of a lack of funding, and low ratings from the
USCMC command board. After an unsuccessful attempt to re-launch the corps
without USCMC permission, the original leader and most of the members
disbanded.

The CMC was hit hard, but still pushed on. Strall was appointed
as the new Commanding Officer. CMC was unstable at best, with the reason
being, they were "top heavy". CMC could no longer stay together, and fell
apart once again. After Strall's dissapointing commandmant, he resigned
and Jacob was appointed as new Commanding Officer of the Colonial Marine
Corps.

With permission of the Weyland-Yutani Corporation under judgement
of the USCMC, the Colonial Marine Corps were again given permission to
re-launch and ready the platoon for active duty. The Corps status is
currently listed as "Stable".
